Grow without hiring first
Before you add people, get more out of the customers, hours and prices you already have.
Hiring is the most expensive way to grow. There are usually cheaper moves sitting in your business right now.
Win back past customers
People who bought from you before are the easiest people to sell to again. A simple reminder to last year's customers often beats any new ad.
Fill the empty hours
Look at your week. If some days are packed and others are quiet, shift work or offer a small reason to book on the slow days.
Check your prices
If you haven't raised prices while your costs have gone up, you've cut your own pay. Small, regular increases are easier for customers than one big jump.
Then hire for the bottleneck
When you do hire, hire for the thing that's actually holding you back: the person carrying too much, or the work you keep turning down.
